Iván Chaar-López

Chaar-López is a Mellon Postdoctoral Associate in the Latina/o Studies Program and the Department of Science & Technology Studies at Cornell University. His work traces the history of drones and electronic technology in the U.S. borderlands as instruments of empire. Chaar-López received his Ph.D. from the Department of American Culture at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and he obtained his B.A. and M.A. in History from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
