Born in Shiraz, Iran, Farnoosh Farmer is a designer and researcher based in New York. She graduated from the Master of Architecture II program at The Cooper Union for Advancement of Science and Art. She holds M.A in Urban Design from Iran University of Science and Technology and B.A in Art and Architecture from IAU. Her concentration is in history, theory and criticism, spanned conceptual and political readings of tools, design and space. She had published several pieces in national journals and magazines, and had presented her research at research-based institutions, namely TU Berlin, IUST, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
