Ila Sheren
Ila Sheren is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Washington University in St Louis, where she specializes in contemporary political and activist art. She is the author of Portable Borders: Performance Art and Politics on the US Frontera since 1984 (UT Press, 2015) and her current work focuses on the intersection of postcolonial theory and new materialism in digital environmental art.
